Background: Kami started playing drums in 5th grade. When he got into High School, he and his friends started a band. He originally wanted to play guitar, but he ended up becoming the drummer. He was also born in Ibaragi, Japan.

Personality: Kami was always cheerful. Outside of the serious, solemn Malice Mizer photos, he liked to make funny faces.

Death: Kami's death was sudden, and unexpected. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage, which is the excessive loss of blood from a ruptured blood vessel. It was only a little after Gackt (the vocalist) had left the band, which left Malice Mizer with only their guitar line.
Kami's name means 'god' in Japanese. It may just be a coincidence, but I think Kami was much like a god. As quoted from one of my friends: "The greatest are always first to die." Through his drum sticks, Kami showed us fame, greatness, music, and a story. Forever is a long time, and good-bye could never be forever.
